What will happen if the rebellion continues?
Option 1
If the rebellion was to continue, the colonies will surely perish and crumble apart. Without the support of the mother nation, it will be near impossible to stand on our own. Britain has massive control of the seas. Its army and naval forces surpass our ragtag militias in every way. It his highly improbable that we will have any chance of gaining independence. Even if we do, the "patriots" such as Sam Adams have only ever accomplished anything through congregating in violent mobs. How can these miscreants possibly be expected to form a just and stable government. In addition, all our trade is managed by Britain. There is no possible way that we can come up with a trade system on our own. It is simple, Britain bolsters the stability and organization of the colonies, and if the rebellion continues, all stability will disappear. Therefore, it can be concluded that the rebellion would be a mistake.
Option 2
If the rebellion continues, it is iminant that the colonies will fall. Even if the colonists block and close every port, Without the support and mediation of the Mother Country (Britain), any disagreement among the colonist could, and probably will, plunge them into a civil war. The colonists are like children in a sandbox, if the teacher disappears, they will fight. If Britain is taken away from the picture, the stability of the colonies will be lost.
Option 3
If the rebellion continues, the British will be forced to take action because they cannot just put the colonists aside. Without the source of income from the colonists, the British could lose their firm grasp on America, because they don't have support for the massive armies. To maintain this asset in the new world, the British would have to hand the colonists thier rights and treating them like a fellow englishmen.
Option 4
If the rebellion continues, Britain will be overcome by the colonists and those who aid the colonies (France and Spain) and the colonies will gain their independence. The colonies are full of colonists that will never give up and will make a worthy opponent for Britain. The colonists will protect their right to form a government that will promote their well-being. As rebellion continues, the colonists will grow stronger. In addition, the rebellion will gain more members due to the fact that Britain is not willing to compromise and has already murdered many colonists. Bloodshed of colonists will be the last strand for colonists who still want to compromise with Britain. They will want to gain complete independence from Britain. The colonies’ new strength will allow them to gain their independence. After the colonists have gained their independence, colonists will be able to use their logic and nature to grow strong enough to stand on its own. In addition, the problems between colonies will fade making the colonies united and therefore making the colonies stronger as a whole. Finally, the colonies will be able to have a self-government that will protect the colonists’ rights.
